Jefferson County, Missouri, is proposing a bridge replacement on Boyce Lane Low- Water Bridge over Plattin Creek. The existing structure is inefficient in moderate rain events and poses a safety hazards to the public. The proposed structure will be raised roughly 5-feet higher to help overtopping during rain events. The roadway width 26-feet with a curb rail on both sides of the roadway. Roadway work will be minimalized to only what is necessary to tie the new structure back into the existing roadway. Rock blanket shall be added to help protect portions of the bank and newly constructed bridge.

The purpose of providing this information is to introduce the proposed project to the public. Written statements will be received and made part of the public record if received by February 19th, 2021. The presently contemplated improvements are as follows:
