TO ALL RECORDER OF DEEDS CUSTOMERS

The Recorder of Deeds office is proud to announce that we have implemented a new web page application for accessing our deed information and it is ready to use. All of the indexes since 1986 are in this new system so you no longer will need access to the AS400 to inquiry recording information. The AS400 will still be available for now to do research regarding Assessor, Collector and Circuit Clerk information, you will have to contact the county IT department for further connection. The access to the Laredo Search System will be through the Internet and the fee for this service will be $600.00 for the first PC and $400.00 for each additional PC per month.

Our office will send a monthly invoice with a 10-day receipt payment due, there will not be any late charges enforced but by the fifteenth of each month if payment is not received the service will be discontinued.

The following procedure is necessary to gain access to the Laredo Search System:

Step One
Call Marlene Castle (636-797-5419) to obtain your User Name ID and Password

Step Two
You will need to download from the Internet an application from www.fidlar.com. In the middle of the page you will see section Easier Record Management. Select "Laredo" within this section. The program will start downloading.

Step Three
You are on! To log on the system, simply double click you ICON. Enter you User Name and Password you received from Marlene.
