| Welcome to the Planning Division |
| Jefferson County currently finds itself in an exciting and challenging time. Countless new opportunities abound throughout the County including new housing opportunities, new parks, and shopping & employment opportunities. At the same time however, many challenges pose tough decisions for everyone in the County. The loss of open space, traffic congestion, and environmental degradation all demand decisive action if the County is to continue to thrive.
The dedicated staff of the Planning Division seek to assist County residents and appointed & elected officials in identifying issues and opportunities, discussing alternatives, defining appropriate actions, and finally implementing steps to address the issues and take advantage of opportunities.
