Jefferson County Winter Park

If you enjoy a sandy beach, swimming and fun, you will enjoy Jefferson County Winter Park. Upon your arrival, you can select picnic tables over looking the Meramec River. Your view will allow you to survey the swimming area and the fast paced action of the personal watercrafts, powerboats and anglers. If this activity does not interest you, you can play volleyball on the sand pit volleyball court. Or, relax in the water as the waves of the Meramec River beat against the shore.

Fee: Park security is provided at selected hours; as a result a parking and security fee is collected during specified times. State fishing regulations are imposed.

A "Patrons of the Parks" pass is available to all Jefferson County residents that are 55 years and over and/or are Veterans of our Armed Services. For a one time $5 fee, the cardholder and anyone else in their vehicle can enter any Jefferson County park facility at no charge. Contact any park cashier or our Park office for details.

NOTICE: The Meramec River is a swift moving stream. Strong currents produce dangerous swimming conditions. Life guards are not on duty. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
