Welcome to the Highway Division
The Highway Division is comprised of approximately 80 County employees who are assigned to operate a variety of equipment and maintain Jefferson County's approximately 663 miles of roads.
Employees of the Highway Division perform various construction activities that include pavement repair, maintaining traffic signs and signals, maintaining pavement markings, mowing County right of way and snow removal.
