The EDC is a non-profit, public corporation providing a full range of services to help meet the growing business needs in Jefferson County. The EDC is the umbrella agency for the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and the Port Authority, and the administrative arm of the Jefferson County Entitlement and Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Programs.
