Youth Instructional Basketball Program 2018 - House Springs

The Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Northwest School District will be sponsoring a Youth Instructional Basketball Program, now in it's 26th year.  This program, which emphasizes instruction, learning and fun, will play a three practice, six game schedule at the Northwest Early Childhood Center Gymnasium, January 13 through March 10, 2018.  The first three Saturdays will be devoted to instruction, while the last six will be league play.

Co-ed teams will be offered at grades 1-3 and 4-6, with a deadline of January 5, 2018.  Registration fee, which includes a full uniform and medal for each player, is only $70.

In addition, a MANDATORY skills evaluation will be required for all players in our program!  This evaluation will take place on Saturday, January 13, at the Northwest Early Childhood Center Gymnasium, from 9 am to 11:00 am.  These will be done to try to create more even teams in each age group, and is low pressure and fun!

Registration is being taken now, by mail, walk up at our office, or by registering online by clicking on the link below.  Register early, because these sites may fill prior to the deadline dates!  In addition, paid referee positions and volunteer coaches are still needed!
