Randy B. Holman and the Jefferson County Assessor's Office have instituted the policy to make the public records managed by the Assessor's Office as open and easy to obtain as possible. There may be certain requests that are outside the scope of our abilities or beyond a reasonable expectation that may be unattainable. However, for most inquiries, information is readily available and may be conveyed to you by telephone. For requests requiring paper documents or maps all orders must be prepaid before processing and this should be taken into consideration if needed in a timely manner, especially since a check or money order will need to be received. For all inquiries-a telephone call is recommended to arrange and confirm requests prior to sending an order.

To identify the specific records you want, you will need one or more of the following:

Complete and accurate owners name
Map parcel number-located on tax bills
Possible situs address (911)
Locate the parcel on a map (requires visit to the office)
