Sunridge Park

If you want the best view of Jefferson County, this if the place for you. You can climb the only observation tower open to the public.  Looking eastward you can see all the way to Festus, west as far as High Ridge, south to DeSoto, north to Arnold and on a clear day, you can see the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Bring your camera and take a picture of the fall foliage which resembles a colorful quilt. In addition, you can use the shelter house, picnic facilities and playground for your family picnic.

If you are planning a group outing, you may contact the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department at 636-797-5334 or email at
parks@jeffcomo.org for a reservation.

NOTE: The observation tower is currently closed to the public for safety inspection and evaluation!
