As the County Clerk of Jefferson County, I am committed to making on-line access to government a convenient and useful resource for the citizens of our County. The County Clerk's office performs a multitude of functions for our citizens.  In addition to conducting all elections, the clerk is also the administrative officer to the County Council, maintaining all official county records, preparing the county financial statement, working with the political subdivisions to establish their current tax levies, serving as the secretary for the Board of Equalization, overseeing the payment of all County bills through the accounts payable department, issuing all County liquor licenses, solid waste licenses, notary public licenses and processing applications for nursing home assistance.e a
